Good friends give us the opportunity to interact positively with one another and in caring for our mutual well being we exercise our will harmoniously and constructively. Good friends encourage us to accept and share freely without a sense of expectation. They lend a willing ear and shoulder when we feel afraid and confused. They help us appreciate that in their total acceptance of us we receive incalculable guidance and support.

Good friendships are akin to equal souls who share similar beliefs and whose experiences serve to enlighten us along our journey. They provide us with new perspectives and they do this in total acceptance of who we are.

Friends treat you the way you would like to be treated and you treat them the way they should be treated. All round, it’s a balanced act. Harmony is balance and balance in our relationships gives us a sense of our own reality.
